"Being Together"

Scripture: "They continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship". (Acts 2:42) Reflection: During my high school years I was honored to become friends with our foreign exchange student from Peru. Before she returned to Peru, I asked her what were her impressions of Americans. She had many positive things to say, but she also related a negative impression. She said that we americans were so busy getting material things, that we were cold, and not very concerned about relationships. Boy was she right! Have you noticed, even in our churches, we have become so concerned with things, and not with each other. We need to realize that Christian fellowship is essential to our faith, because it provides the support and encouragement that we so desperately need. We need to love, pray, care, share, rejoice, and grieve together. And most important, in my opinion, we need to Worship together. From all of this we learn to serve others. Prayer: Lord Jesus help to realize that I do not need things in my life, what I need is my sisters and brothers in Christ. Thank you for fellowship and Worship. THANK YOU GOD FOR BEING GOD!
